We are pleased to announce that we have reached 100 locations on our website! Each location can take hours to assess, then reports need to be summarized, images sorted and optimized, and the detailed listings placed on the website.

This achievement would not have been possible without generous assistance from the Adirondack Foundation, and the Cloudsplitter Foundation, who provided grant funds for the 2024 assessments and the placement of the results within the Accessible Adirondack Tourism website, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation which provided full access to the entirety of their locations, and the many welcoming business owners who embraced providing people with disabilities the ability to make informed choices on where they can comfortably enjoy the richness of the Adirondack region.

Thank you to all of our allies and supporters, and our incredible Board of Directors!

Accessible Adirondack Tourism received a Generous Acts Grant from the Adirondack Foundation!

We have received a Generous Acts grant from the Adirondack Foundation to provide free ADA compliance assessments for locations throughout the Adirondack region during the summer 2024 season. We are grateful for their generous support to help people with disabilities find accessible locations to shop, dine, stay, and play in the Adirondacks. Please sign up at https://accessibleadirondacktourism.org/get-listed-on-accessible-adirondack-tourism/ if you are interested in receiving the free assessment, and to be listed within our website.

The Adirondack Foundation connects people, ideas, and resources to improve lives and expand opportunities throughout the Adirondack region.
