This is the section of Forest Home road that is having a culvert replaced. We’ve been told it will be open for the ride which is good since all 3 rides pass this way! So the maps on Ride with GPS are accurate.

Here it is, the plain white Tee! We've had long sleeves, camo, and multi color but this year we went with a clean classic white. Still a performance T, its light weight and breathable to help you keep cool! Pre-register today to ensure your size will be waiting for you on Sat. 8/23!!

The countdown is on! 30 days till the 25th edition of the Stratton Ride. Signs and banners are going up. Registrations are rolling in. Get on the bus to be part of the Best Ride in the Adirondacks!

We have historically had the 3 rides return on the Forest Home Rd section. There is a culvert being replaced and one end of the road is closed. We are in hopes it will be bike passable for 8/23 after talking with the site foreman (also a Stratton rider!). If not there is a plan B which we will be sure to let everyone know about. Stay tuned and keep cool riding!

The 4th Saturday in August is the date for the 25th edition of the Best Ride in the Adirondacks. This year’s edition will see a few changes to the routes but all the challenge, reward, and fun remain the same.

Named after a local plumber and cycling enthusiast, the Pat Stratton Ride is a road cycling tour featuring some of the most stunning scenery and terrain in the northern Adirondacks.

An important part of the event is that registrations and sponsorships support a wide variety of youth programs, including an annual bicycle rodeo, free helmet distribution and fitting, bike recycle and distribution, college and summer camp scholarships, and much more.

The three bicycle routes (25, 50, and 100 mile) will all be marked as starting and ending at the Mount Pisgah Ski Lodge, Saranac Lake. Ride start times are staggered depending on the route. Each route is fully supported with a follow vehicle and feed station(s). Route maps are available at BikeAdirondacks.com for printing or downloading.

Registration is open at BikeAdirondacks.com, and in addition to providing important support for youth programs, your registration includes the 25th Anniversary performance sports shirt, post ride BBQ, fantastic pies and a raffle.

See their page at saranaclakekiwanis for more info on the programs they support.
