Prana is the breath beneath the breath. 🌀

Not just the air we take in, but the life force it carries, the quiet current that moves through everything alive.
For so many women & girls, breath becomes one of the first things the world tries to manage, telling them to shrink, to hold back, to make themselves smaller.

Prana offers something else: a reminder that this aliveness is theirs, & it was never meant to be contained. ✨

This is why our teacher trainings begin with a simple belief: yoga should fit the person, not the person fit to yoga. We work alongside communities to adapt the practice to their own culture, language, & needs, because anyone can teach, & anyone can lead, when they’re given the tools & the time.

Through our On the Ground Yoga teacher trainings & immersions, we’ve watched what happens when women & girls of every age are trusted to shape the practice themselves: leadership grows, voices steady, & that life force finally moves freely.

This is the work we return to again & again. 💫

Travel. Charity. Yoga. ✈️ 🤲 🪷

These three elements, when combined, create something much greater than their individual parts.

Since 2016, we have traveled to 9 countries across 4 continents, raising tens of thousands of dollars for young women’s education worldwide. Currently, over 130 million girls are denied access to education, & with it, the right to make their own decisions, shape their futures, & harness their power.

Our response to this is ethical travel. Each retreat we lead goes beyond just yoga; it encompasses intentionality, support for local charities on the ground, & authentic experiences rooted in reciprocity & respect.

Thanks to Loni P. & all the incredible members of our global community who continue to show up, travel with purpose, & make this work possible.

Join us on a retreat, attend an event, or subscribe to our mailing list. Every way you participate makes a difference. 💛

Embodiment is not something we perform. It is something we return to. 🌀

For a teen girl, this return can be especially powerful in a world that constantly shapes how she should look, move, & be. Embodiment becomes a way back to self-trust, presence, & inner knowing.

It is not about perfect poses. It is about the ongoing relationship with breath, sensation, & the now.

When space is given to fully embody oneself, confidence becomes more internal, connection more grounded, & self-expression more authentic.

This is the practice we return to again & again. ✨

Join us for a grounding & expansive conversation with Uschi Gibson () ✨

Uschi’s path weaves together early initiation into Goddess traditions in Ojai, years of living & studying in India within Shakta Ta**ra & Shaiva teachings, & over a decade of curating yogic journeys across India & Egypt. Her work brings together spiritual study, embodied practice, & immersive travel as pathways to deeper awareness.

In this conversation, Uschi will explore self-care as something far more expansive than rest alone. She offers insight into how motherhood, teaching, hosting, & spiritual devotion all intersect & how following what inspires & challenges us can be just as nourishing as rest & restoration.

✨ What to expect:
✔ Self-care as devotion, discipline & inner alignment
✔ Balancing motherhood, teaching, hosting & spiritual practice
✔ Why soul nourishment can include intensity, effort & inspiration

💛 This conversation invites a broader understanding of self-care as something lived, dynamic & deeply personal.

What if the most radical thing a young woman could do is slow down & come back to herself? 🌟

This summer, Souljourn Yoga Foundation is launching On the Ground, a yoga & arts camp for resilient teen girls from South Los Angeles, in partnership with .projectblue & hosted at .

Over five days, participants will move through yoga, breathwork, meditation, poetry, & creative expression. They will discover tools to calm their nervous systems, uncover their heart causes, & build self-care plans they can carry long after the week ends. ✨

This Sunday, we kick off our first fundraising event, for a Cause in Santa Monica, led by . Ticket & donation link in bio.

Because when young women have the right tools, everything changes. This is where it starts. 💛

Some of the most meaningful parts of travel aren’t the places themselves, they’re the people you share them with. 🫂

The strangers who become family in a matter of days. The shared meals, the practice, the quiet moments of recognition across language & culture. The way community can form anywhere when we arrive with an open heart. 💗

That’s what we come home with. Not just memories, but a wider sense of belonging to something bigger than ourselves. 🌀

⏰ 9am PDT / 12pm EDT / 5pm BST

Join us for a powerful conversation with Risa Bell (), social entrepreneur & founder of 🌊✨

Risa’s work is rooted in creating access, belonging, & transformation in outdoor spaces. Drawing from her multicultural background & lived experiences, she has built Paddle for Peace as a way to bring underserved communities to the ocean, not just for recreation, but as a space for connection, restoration, & collective care. What makes Risa’s journey so impactful is how she has turned personal challenges into community-driven solutions.

Rather than being limited by barriers, she has used them to fuel programs that expand access, shift systems, & open doors for those historically excluded. With over 13 years in the medical field & a background in building and leading healthcare initiatives, Risa now brings her leadership into environmental justice, community empowerment, & ocean-based experiences.

✨ What to expect:
✔ How nature can be a space for self-care, connection, & empowerment
✔ Turning personal challenges into purpose-driven work
✔ Creating access & belonging in outdoor & wellness spaces

💙 This conversation will leave you thinking differently about self-care, access, & what it means to truly create space for others.
