Here at Happy Valley, we host all manner of events! Corporate conferences, educational events, religious retreats, summer camps and hobby groups are all welcome. We strive to deliver exceptional customer service and tailored hospitality to each o

f our guest groups. Accommodating up to 160 guests at a time, we offer a range of lodging and catering services, including nutritious meals complete with bread baked fresh daily and desserts made from scratch! In addition to the lodge and cabins, our scenic trails, swimming pool, ropes courses, volleyball court and large open lawn space provide ample opportunities to enjoy the outdoors here at Happy Valley. On this Stream-ing Sunday we’re taking a breath after a really busy weekend! Even though there are no guests here, we’ve all been working incredibly hard to get the grounds ready for the Summer, and grateful for the chance to work together as a staff to care for this special sanctuary. Now, a pause for a minute of peace with the creek and a couple of well-earned days off before zooooom! into summer camps!

Big things on our little street this week! PGE installed 2 new electric poles, which of course meant no power on site. Thank goodness (again) for “Loyal Virginia,” our all-site generator, which kept our guests, our kitchen, and our office in operation all day and into the late night while the linemen worked to make sure everything got done right!

It’s the season for our littlest campers, and they’ve been having so much fun! Over the course of 2 weeks, we see almost 300 kindergartners through 2nd graders here for outdoor education, end-of-year field trips, and terrific time at camp. They do creek study, hike the trails, have campfire and movie night, have ropes course adventures, and play on the front lawn. We are so lucky to be part of so many core memories! 🌲❤️🌲
