Spooky Family Fun Night is Back Saturday, Oct. 25 🎃
Attention Elks Members! Get your costumes, and get ready to have a spooky-good time at our annual Spooky Family Fun Night! The event is from 5-9 p.m. and includes:

• Pumpkin carving and painting
• Costume parade and contests with prizes
• The Maze! Famously spooky and fun!
• Games, crafts and s’mores
• Finger Foods Contest with prizes
• Dinner: Mac n’ cheese, fried chicken, pizza and much more.
• Music and dancing

Attention Elks! Come up to the Lodge on Labor Day!

We’re planning a “big, beautiful” end-of-summer BBQ! Steaks! Chicken! Giant hot dogs … all paired up with fries, chili, salads and garlic bread. All our famous chefs will be on the job: Ed Lake’s crew, Billy Starrs’ crew, Kelly’s crew - so you know how good it will be! We’ll serve until the food runs out. But, that’s just the BBQ part … the fun starts early on! Come around 11 a.m. to partake in Kelly and Kimberley’s “meal on a stick” Bloody Marys, then morph into the BBQ around noon.

Stick around after lunch for the kids’ games! We’ll start around 1 p.m. with our infamous “water in cups” relay (prepare to get wet), followed by spoon & egg races, hula hoops contest, donut-eating game, and our end-of-year cannonball contests (adults, too!).

Recently our Elks Members hosted a Community Baby Shower at Santa Cruz Barrios Unidos in Midtown Santa Cruz. Members of the community received diaper bags and select items for their babies as well as cases of diapers and wipes. Additionally, 18 kits were sent out to women who work in nearby agricultural fields and were unable to attend the event.

Special thanks to the Santa Cruz Elks that supported this event, the items distributed are sure to help meet important needs of these area moms.
