Happy International Day of Families!

No matter where you are or who makes up your family we are wishing you a great day and remind you that love is what makes a family.

The core of our mission as a chapter of PFLAG is this: All LGBTQ+ people deserve loving and affirming families, and that families who embrace their LGBTQ+ loved ones’ authenticity are all the stronger for it.

To the families who are on their journeys of understanding and learning we thank you for doing so. And to the families who are part of the community you are seen, loved, and valid!

Advocacy Webinar: 2026 Legislative Session Wrap Up!

Join PFLAG National’s Advocacy Team on Wednesday, May 20th at 8:30pm ET / 5:30pm PT for our 2026 Legislative Session Wrap Up! Hear from our team as we review what passed, what didn’t pass, and the amazing work our PFLAG advocates did to fight for our Pride at statehouses around the country.

The session will include a brief presentation, Q&A, and next steps you can take as this legislative season comes to an end. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend; whether you’re an expert advocate or just getting started in your advocacy journey, everyone is welcome! We hope to see you there!

PFLAG Academy Online: April 30th 2026 5:30pm PST 💻📚

Join us for the upcoming PFLAG Academy Online virtual learning session, Want to Be a Trans and Nonbinary Ally?: Expand Your Ally Journey Beyond the Binary.

Participants will learn about both gender identity and expression, review expansive pronouns and how to use them, and grow the skills they need to be stronger allies to people who are trans and nonbinary and better champions of belonging.

Today is Transgender Day of Visibility 🏳️‍⚧️

In every culture and throughout history, trans people have ALWAYS existed and have been people we love —as relatives, friends, leaders, pillars of the community, as loved ones. Trans people have always been here and will continue to be and no amount of legislation or bigotry will everybearse their existence.

To our trans loved ones today and everyday we see you, we love you, and we value you! You make the world a better and more colorful place to be. We will continue to fight for you’re rights to be and to make the the world a more accepting place.
