Building a Common Language Understanding the Foundations of White Supremacy, Anti-Blackness, and Anti-Indigeneity: The goal of Just Communities’ Common Language Workshop is to develop a foundational understanding of key terms and frameworks relating to white supremacy, anti-Blackness, anti-Indigeneity, and (settler) colonialism. The purpose of this workshop is to build a foundational understanding of key terms in frameworks to ground our future conversations in a common understanding.

Just Communities' Language Justice Initiative Workshops Series: The Language Justice Initiative promotes best practices for creating inclusive multilingual spaces where all languages are valued equally and speakers of different languages benefit from listening to and connecting with one another. Our workshops prepare interpreters and translators to create a more inclusive community by improving access to multilingual spaces in which people can connect across differences in language, culture, race, ethnicity, and immigration experience.
