Practice is held every Tues/Thurs from 7-9 pm at Elings Park! Santa Barbara Women's Ruby is in it's third year of revival.

Together, women of all ages, backgrounds, cultures, and creeds come to form a team in which there is only one goal: squeeze every ounce of happiness out of life. For us, rugby is not just a team sport. We are each other's best friends and families. We support each other, on and off the field, in and out of the gym, and most importantly during every step of life. We are each other's number one supp

orters and biggest fans. You won't find a group of women like you do in women's rugby. Whether you have played high school, college, or club rugby, or maybe don't even know what rugby is.. we urge you to come join our family. No experience is required, only the passion to learn. The level of athleticism and amount of love every woman on the pitch has will leave you in awe. Promise.

And that’s a wrap on our 2026 15s season!! Last night we held our banquet and truly had the best time. Sending the biggest thank you to everyone who made this season possible— our rookies for trying something new and crushing it, our vets for their leadership on the pitch, Doach for planning practices and improving our game play, admin for all their hard work, all the other teams in the league for providing fierce competition, our fans for supporting us along the way, and so many others who made this season happen. Cheers to 15s and let’s gear up for a kick ass 7s season!

It’s that time of year again… Co-ed touch rugby has officially STARTED! Come join the Mermaids and the Grunions every Tuesday & Thursday at Chase Palm Park to play rugby without all the tackling. We meet up at 5:30pm on the large grass patch between cabrillo and the beach, right by the traffic light.

New to rugby? Coming back to rugby after a while off? Current player who wants to keep in shape after the 15s season? All experience levels are welcome and encouraged to attend. See ya there!!

Sending the biggest thank you to all the teams for making the trip, the Volunteers that made everything happen, and our rugby community for showing up and showing out both on pitch and at the social.
