Great afternoon yesterday at the Rotary Multi-Club Barbecue and rededication of the Pavillion at Laguna Lake Park, built by members of Rotary back in the early 1990's. It has a fresh new look and items for local neighborhood pantries were collected. Another community asset contributed in collaboration among several clubs.

It's ALWAYS great to be a Rotarian, especially this past week with the dedication of the Peace Pole in downtown San Luis Obispo, sending six high school students to the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) and a visit today from CA State Treasurer and CPA, Fiona Ma. Our club is also approaching our 28-year anniversary. Cheers to SLO Daybreak and all the other Rotary Clubs out there making a difference in their communities!

Proud of this joint effort between San Luis Obispo Rotary Clubs and to encourage peace and understanding among our youth and community members. See you on April 14th!

One city. Many clubs. One mission: Peace. 🕊️🛞

Rotary has always believed that people of action can change the world — and that peace begins with how we show up in our own communities. Rotary clubs from across SLO are joining together on April 14th to dedicate a Peace Pole at Mission Plaza, connecting our corner of California to a global movement that spans more than 180 countries.

This is Rotary. This is why we serve.
