Bilingual Storytime happens this morning, and every Tuesday morning, at the SLO Library! We'll have stories and songs in English and Spanish for the whole family from 10:00-10:30am in the Community Room.

Join us at the SLO Library this Saturday, June 27, for another Reader's Theatre Group event! Read a part in a short play alongside others as a fun way to appreciate theater with no audience and no pressure. A discussion of the play follows.

This event will take place from 2:00-4:00pm and is for adults. Registration is required at https://bit.ly/3Sgvfuz.

Reminder the SLO FOL Summer Book Sale happens this Thursday through Saturday in the SLO Library Community Room! ~7,500 books for adults, teens, and children, all priced at $1.50/inch. Music CDs and puzzles will also be on sale. Prices for all items drop to $5/bag or $10/box all day Saturday.

SLO FOL Members receive early access from 9am-12pm on Thursday. If you're not already a 2026 or lifetime member, join at the door or at https://www.slofol.org/membership for as low as $10 an individual or $20 a household.

The Branch Out van will be at De Vaul Park again this Saturday, June 20, from 1:00-2:30pm! Get a library card, borrow books, and learn about all the FREE resources the library has available to you.

Teens -- join us at the SLO Library this Saturday, June 20, for another Tarot & Tea event! Learn the basics of tarot cards and blending teas with others (ages 13-18). The event will be from 1:00-2:00pm in the Teen Area of the library. It's free and materials will be provided. Registration is required at https://bit.ly/4uYTUBH.

The next Sidetrack Book Club, for ages 13-18, will be held this Friday, June 19! Instead of a traditional book club, it's a Book Share Club where you can bring your favorite reads, discover new titles, and connect with fellow book lovers. The club meets from 4:00-4:45pm in the Teen Area of the SLO Library.

The SLO Library Book Club selection for July is Searches: Selfhood in the Digital Age by Vauhini Vara. Join in by reading this book ahead of the Book Club's next meeting on July 9 from 10:30am - 12:00pm in the City Conference Room at the library.

Teens and adults are invited to join us at the SLO Library next Saturday, June 20, to Paint a Watercolor Fairy Door! In a guided lesson, participants will learn how to first draw a fairy door and then embellish their pieces using watercolor paints.

This fun activity will be from 3:00-4:30pm in the Community Room. Registration is required at https://bit.ly/4wS3Aju.

Fan favorite Reptile Ron and his animal friends will return the SLO Library next Saturday, June 20! Due to popular demand, this year's event will be occurring at two times: 11:00am-12:00pm and 1:00-2:00pm in the Community Room at the library. All ages are welcome!
