You won't want to miss our farm-to-table cooking experience this Saturday! As part of our Open Farm Days programming we are offering this unique experience and still have some limited spots remaining.
There's something special about cooking a meal a few steps from where it grew. Guest Chef Laurie Jo will walk us through roasting a whole City Farm chicken and turning just-harvested vegetables into something simple and genuinely delicious, with the kind of practical tips that make cooking with local ingredients feel easy at home. Then we do the best part: gather around the table and eat it together, out in the field where it all started.
Chef Laurie Jo joins us from the Grass Valley area where she regularly hosts nourishing cooking classes and wellness retreats, we are honored to offer this special experience with her!
Come early if you can. The optional 11:00 AM farm tour is free, and it's a chance to meet the chickens and see the regenerative growing methods behind everything on your plate.
