Free, Online Training & Job Placement in May 2026 to Become a Caregiver in the Bay Area!
DHTI is pleased to announce that our Caregiver Training Program is now accepting applications for the May cohort. We would greatly appreciate your support in sharing this opportunity with your community members.

This program may be a good fit for individuals who:
Have intermediate English proficiency
Speak a second language (preferred but not required)
Are interested in working as a caregiver supporting seniors or individuals with special needs
Currently reside in Alameda County, San Francisco County, or Contra Costa County
Are 18 years of age or older

Program trainings include:
5-Hour HCA Caregiver Training – Providing care for seniors
10-Hour Fast-Track Respite Training (FTRT) – Providing care for individuals with special needs

We’re looking for community members to share their experiences and help shape culturally responsive wellness programs for immigrant, refugee, and BIPOC communities.

💻 3 ONLINE sessions (1.5 hours each)
💵 Receive a $50 stipend for participating

👥 Who can join?
• Age 18+
• Identify as immigrant, refugee, and/or BIPOC
• OR community leaders, faith leaders, or staff supporting these communities
