New findings from National Council of Asian Pacific Americans - NCAPA and AAPI Data shows that when it comes to AA and NH/PI communities the data is clear: affordability is the top issue.

Dr. Islam is a professor and director at NYU Grossman School of Medicine dedicated to improving health outcomes among AAs and underserved populations through community health worker driven approaches to diabetes care and chronic disease management. Dr. Islam’s work that reflects the type of collaboration and community-informed approach we all aim to highlight.

Meet Dr. Rebecca Delafield, an Hero!

Dr. Delafield is a researcher at UCLA whose work primarily focuses on understanding and assessing health outcomes and health care experiences of Pasifika people. She is trained in community-based research approaches and maternal and child health. Dr. Delafield is uncovering disparate maternal health outcomes and working to advance care that supports Pasifika families.
