Cheers to the Impact Class of 2026! 🎉

Over the past 10 months, this cohort has shown up, leaned in, and grown into stronger leaders and community advocates: diving deep into the issues and industries that shape San Diego, building lasting relationships, and giving back through hands-on Leadership Action Team projects with local nonprofits.
We’re so proud of what this group has accomplished and excited to see the impact they’ll continue to make across our region. Congratulations, Class of 2026! 👏

Inspired to be part of the next cohort? Applications for Impact Class of 2027 are open now. Link in bio to learn more and apply.

You already have everything you need to lead - you just haven't been told to use it.

In this episode, Lucy Romero (22 & 25) opens up about the moment Advance became the first space where she felt safe enough to be vulnerable, and the lightbulb realization that flipped her whole approach: stop fixing weaknesses, start leading from strengths.

Executive leadership coach Amanda Flisher (21) joins her to break down what it really takes to own your strengths, advocate for yourself, and step into the rooms where decisions get made, plus why the goal isn't fighting for "one seat," but extending the table for other women too.

What if the thing holding you back isn't a gap in your skills - it's that you've never been told to lead with what you're already great at? Executive leadership coach Amanda Flisher (21) and two-time LEAD alum Lucy Romero (22 & 25) get into why women struggle to see their own strengths, what it looks like to stop competing for "one seat" and start extending the table, and the shift that changes everything in Episode 5 of LEADing San Diego, out now!
