Pedal the Pacific meets women where they are!

Our alumni have said yes to the ride at the beginning of post-grad, sophomore year of college, during grad school, and in many phases in between.

There is no “perfect time” to bike 1,7000 miles to raise awareness about s*x trafficking, but there is a life changing experience waiting on the other side.

Over the past seven years Pedal the Pacific has benefited the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. NCMEC’s CyberTipline serves as our nation’s centralized reporting system for the online exploitation of children.

In 2025, NCMEC received more than 113,500 reports of possible child s*x trafficking. NCMEC provides training, case management, clearinghouse resources, analytical support, family and peer support, and recovery services assistance on reports involving child s*x trafficking.

It’s is honor to have them at our finish line and to support their important work!

Applications to be on the 2027 team of Pedal the Pacific open TOMORROW!

Maybe you’ve heard about the realities of trafficking and feel moved to do something, maybe you feel drawn to learning more about this issue, and maybe (probably) the idea of cycling from Seattle to San Diego sounds a bit scary but you’re willing to try. THIS IS FOR YOU!

Applications will be open for women ages 18-24 from August 15 - September 18.
