This past Sunday I had an amazing time at Mission Hills United Church of Christ Souper Bowl event. TACO was chosen to receive the funds raised at this event. I met some wonderful people and had amazing soup! I even brought some back to serve at TACO! Thank you so much for your support. It’s our community partners that help TACO do all we do each week!

🎨🥣 Calling all potters & craft artists!

TACO is collecting handmade bowls for our Empty Bowls fundraiser in May. Each donated bowl helps provide meals and vital support to our unsheltered neighbors in Downtown San Diego.

We’re always impressed and grateful for the generosity we receive when it comes to clothing donations. We get interesting things all the time. Sometimes rare stuff, weird stuff and even stuff like this perfect, thirty-year-old hoodie! It’s a like our clientele. It will go to good use! Many thanks and ❤️ to its donor!

Thanks to we started the year on schedule with our shower program. We could never have done it without their generous generosity! If you haven’t heard they donated a truck so we can pull the shower! Our guests are so happy and enjoying their hot shower.

As we close out the year, our hearts are full. 💛 Thank you to every volunteer, donor, and supporter who helped TACO serve our community with dignity and compassion. Special thanks to the Lucky Duck Foundation for supporting our anniversary matching campaign and to Helix Electric for donating a truck to pull our mobile shower. What a way to end the year—we couldn’t do this without you.
