Ladle Fellowship

Ladle Fellowship Sunday service 2-4pm. Choir meets Wednesdays at 5pm with Bible study. We have been serving this community since 1983.

For Over 40 years, the Ladle Fellowship of First Presbyterian Church has aided the poor and homeless with love and compassion by serving meals, God's word and more. Ladle Fellowship is a ministry of First Presbyterian Church, San Diego to the poor and those experiencing homelessness in the downtown area.

Yesterday, The Village Church youth ministry fulfilled 140 clothing orders while serving the homeless at Ladle Fellowship. It was the first time this group of middle school students served at Ladle and they rocked it! The guests were blessed with coffee, a meal, haircuts, medical care, new clothes, and more! VC Youth loves serving in our community!

It’s almost August! Whoa! August is our fundraising month at Ladle Fellowship and when we petition the church for financial support.
If you haven’t seen what we do, you’d be impressed. Every Sunday from 2-4pm we serve 200-300 poor and homeless neighbors with a meal, property check, haircuts, coffee, drinks, medical attention, cell phone charging, clothing, toiletries, Bibles, prayer, devotion, and more. We also have the San Diego Street Choir and Bible study on Wednesdays from 5-6pm.
We feed and care for around 15,000 guests every year and it takes a lot to make it all happen. We invite you to consider helping us make it happen by donating through ladlefellowship.org or by sending your check (made out to Ladle Fellowship) to First Presbyterian Church of San Diego 320 Date St San Diego, CA. 92101
