🔥Congratulations to Nate Carter, Blue Heart Class of 2026! 💙

Nate is officially stepping into his next chapter at Cal State Fullerton, where he will be majoring in Business.

We are so proud of Nathanael and excited for the road ahead. Business is a path that takes vision, confidence, discipline, and the ability to think ahead, and we know this next chapter will give him room to grow, learn, and continue becoming the young man he is called to be.

And from what we hear, Nathanael definitely brought some fun energy with him along the way! Every Blue Heart journey is different, and we love seeing each young man show up with his own personality, gifts, and presence.

This is why Blue Heart exists, to walk with our Young Blues as they grow into themselves, build leadership, strengthen their confidence, prepare for life after high school, and understand that they have a village behind them.

Nathanael, as you move forward, know that you are not leaving Blue Heart behind. You are now part of our Blue Heart Alumni family, and you will always have a place here.

We are proud of you, we believe in you, and we can’t wait to see what you do next.

Congratulations, Nate! 💙🧡

🔥A growing mental health crisis is affecting Black males, with su***de rates rising sharply among young Black men. The need to support our boys before they reach adulthood has never been greater.

At Blue Heart, we believe the ages of 10–18 are critical. Through our Mindful Heart Academy, we help young men build emotional awareness, manage stress, develop healthy coping skills, and learn that seeking help is a sign of strength—not weakness.

By investing in their emotional wellness today, we can help change the future for tomorrow’s men.

🔥San Diego men, this is your call to show up.

The Blue Heart Foundation is proud to support Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County and their **Men Who Show Up** campaign in partnership with CBS 8.

The goal is powerful: to encourage more men across San Diego to take the first step into mentorship and support the young men in our community who need guidance, consistency, and connection.

At Blue Heart, we know this work matters because we see it every day.

When positive men show up, young men begin to see what’s possible for their own lives. They gain confidence. They feel supported. They begin to understand that they are not alone.

And here’s the truth:

Our young men don’t need perfect men.

They need present men.
Consistent men.
Men willing to listen.
Men willing to guide.
Men willing to show up.

There are many ways to make an impact, mentoring, tutoring, volunteering, coaching, speaking, supporting programs, or simply being part of the village.

Learn more about the campaign here:
https://sdbigs.org/showup/

And be sure to follow and support Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County as they lead this important movement across San Diego.

What an INCREDIBLE Signing Day 2026 celebration this past Sunday! 💙👑

Even though I wasn’t able to be there in person, I felt the energy, the love, and the pride through every photo, every message, and every video clip. From what I hear, the room was full, the spirit was high, and our Young Kings were celebrated the way they deserve to be!

First and foremost...a HUGE congratulations to our seniors:

🎓 Casey Jones
🎓 Jaymeson Scott

🎓 Nathanael Carter

Many of these young men have been with Blue Heart for 4+ years. That consistency is our recipe for success. Watching them grow into disciplined, confident, purpose-driven young men is exactly why we do this work. And we are so proud. 💪🏾

A very special THANK YOU to our Executive Director, Tammy T. Blevins, for producing another phenomenal Signing Day event. The attention to detail, the coordination, the heart behind it all, it does not go unnoticed. We appreciate you so much! đź’™
