10 YEARS of CRMO awareness 💜
10 YEARS of community 💜
10 YEARS of strength 💜
Registration is officially OPEN for the 10th Annual Kaila’s Komfort CRMO Awareness Virtual 5K Walk‑A‑Thon!
For anyone new to this event, here’s a little history: Kaila’s Komfort hosted the first-ever CRMO Awareness 5K in October 2017, marking the largest organized worldwide CRMO awareness event at that time. Ten years later, we are honored to continue this tradition of connection, visibility, and hope. This year — our Decade of Awareness — we’re once again hosting the CRMO Awareness Virtual 5K Walk‑A‑Thon during CRMO Awareness Month, October 10–18, 2026. As always, participation is flexible and inclusive: join in-person or virtually, wherever you are in the world, in whatever way feels right for you. Walk, run, bike, skip, wheel, or roll your 3.1 miles — every step shines a light on CRMO and supports our global community. You can participate solo, with your family, with a group of friends, or by organizing a team. Complete your miles at a park, on a track, through your neighborhood, or even on your treadmill at home. The beauty of this event is that everyone can take part, from anywhere, at any time during the event week. Register by September 10 to guarantee this year’s special-edition event t‑shirt and matching jelly bracelet — created to celebrate ten powerful years of awareness, advocacy, and community.
A huge shoutout to CRMO Warrior Lauren Potts for designing this year’s incredible anniversary logo. It captures the spirit of strength, unity, and resilience that defines our community.

You can create a team, share your link with friends and family, and invite others to join or donate. Last year, one of our most successful teams participated entirely virtually — supporters from around the world signed up through their shared link and completed their miles in their own towns on the same day. It became a beautiful collection of micro‑walks honoring one amazing Warrior. Other teams gathered at local parks, inviting friends and family to walk together in support of their Warrior. Whether your group is one person or one hundred, your participation makes a meaningful impact. As we celebrate ten years of awareness, we can’t wait to see who joins us, how far our reach extends, and how brightly we can shine together. Let’s make this the biggest and most inspiring CRMO Awareness 5K yet — and let’s continue to raise our voices, our miles, and our hope for the CRMO community.
