Del Mar 12U Blue wrapped up a fantastic weekend at Girls Super Finals, placing 2nd. This group showed tremendous resilience, teamwork, and determination throughout the weekend, and we’re proud of everything they accomplished.

The journey isn’t over. We’re excited to watch this team compete again next weekend as they continue preparing for the Junior Olympics in July.

Day 2 of Futures Super Finals Re-Cap!…After a strong opening win over Commerce, Del Mar battled Newport in a hard-fought match that was decided in a shootout. The girls came away with the win to earn a spot in tomorrow’s semifinals.

Del Mar will face 680 at 9:50 AM at Woolett Aquatics Center. A win will send the team to the championship game against either San Clemente or Newport.

We’d love to see our families, and supporters in the stands as the girls compete for a championship berth. Let’s Go Del Mar!

We are excited to announce that Del Mar athletes Grace Shin and Meredith Orr have advanced to the June USA Water Polo National Team Selection Camp.

“As a coach, one of the most rewarding things is seeing athletes earn opportunities like this,” said Coach Sarah. “Meredith and Grace have consistently shown the work ethic, curiosity, and competitive spirit needed to grow at the highest levels. Being among the youngest athletes selected makes this accomplishment even more special, and it is well deserved. I am beyond proud.”

Both are 12U athletes who regularly compete against some of the top players in the country, including athletes up to two years older. Their selection reflects their dedication, resilience, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Congratulations to Grace and Meredith on this incredible achievement. We are proud to see them represent Del Mar at the next stage of their journey and will be cheering them on every step of the way.

For athletes like Grace and Meredith, moments like this are not the finish line they are another step in a much bigger journey. Every practice, every challenging game, and every lesson learned in and out of the pool has helped prepare them for this opportunity. We cannot wait to see what they accomplish next.

Del Mar 10U Girls delivered an incredible performance at PSW RJO’s, earning a big win over La Jolla and continuing to showcase the growth, determination, and teamwork that have defined their season.

Adding to an already impressive weekend, Del Mar will be sending two all-girls 10U teams to Junior Olympics—the only club in the division to accomplish that feat. Finishing 1st and 3rd in PSW, these athletes have proven that hard work, dedication, and a love for the game lead to great things.

Congratulations to all of our athletes, coaches, and families. Best of luck as both teams continue their Junior Olympics journey!

Del Mar 12U Blue delivered a dominant performance at PSW RJO’s, shutting out Shores 12-0 and holding La Jolla United to a 17-3 scoreline.

We couldn’t be more proud of this group’s effort, commitment, and growth. They continue to showcase what it means to be part of Del Mar playing with intensity, discipline, and teamwork every time they enter the pool.

With these results, Del Mar 12U Blue has earned the 1st place seed in PSW heading into the next stage of competition.

Congratulations to the athletes and coaches, and best of luck as this team continues its journey.
