Volunteers Needed for Adams Avenue Flags
The Kensington Talmadge Community Association takes great pride in providing, maintaining and displaying the American flags along Adams Avenue during national holidays. It is a community tradition that dates back more than 60 years.

Our wonderful team of volunteers needs help in setting up, taking down and storing the flags. Please join our flag team to keep this tradition alive. Volunteers with pickup trucks are a plus.

For more information and to volunteer, please send an email to KTCA President Lisa Prats at [email protected]

Thank you for helping us keep up the tradition and promoting civic pride in our community.

Celebrate the 5th Annual Kensington–Talmadge Earth Day, a fun, family-friendly day of environmental activities on Saturday, April 11 from 11 am–2 pm at Kensington–Normal Heights Library Park. Kick off the festivities at 10:30 with the library’s Earth Day–themed story time for young children. This year we’re focusing on “Protecting Our Oceans and Watershed,” highlighting how safeguarding streams, rivers, and oceans begins right in our own community. Enjoy hands-on activities, live music, free ice cream, and a chance to win free trees. Learn about animals, gardening, and sustainable practices from local organizations working to protect our water and our planet.
