Front Runners & Walkers San Diego

Front Runners & Walkers San Diego is a running and walking club whose members are primarily LGBTQ+ a We meet in San Diego and in North County.

In San Diego, we meet at the southeast corner of 6th Avenue and Laurel Street in Balboa Park on Saturdays at 8 am, for running and walking, with several routes available from 2½ to 6 miles (4 to 10 km). There are informal Sunday scheduled runs (6-10 miles) that help individuals prepare for races.

Apparently 50 (runners and walkers) is the new 40! Crazy to think that a year ago 40 people was our all time high attendance on Tuesday. We have had at least 50 people every Tuesday for over a month now!

Thanks to all who came out to our Pride 5k Jell-O Shot Fundraiser to support The San Diego LGBT Community Center 🌈 Youth Housing and San Diego Pride Youth Programs! Thank you Urban MO's for once again donating the space and shots. With the help of our amazing volunteers and all who purchased shots or just donated money, we are proud to announce we broke our previous record of $1,020 by raising $1,203.50.

Well over 100 q***r folks came together to celebrate Pride Month! For the first time, Front Runners and Walkers San Diego hosted L*z Run San Diego at our Saturday Meetup. We had our Pride 5k Platinum Sponsors Milestone and On present as well. The morning was full of laughs, love, running, walking and bagels. This is truly the gay agenda!

We had so much fun on Thursday with L*zRunSD, we are doing it again! L*zRunSD will be visiting FRWSD this coming Saturday for our meetup! It will be sponsored by Milestone Running Store and show demos by On Shoes! You don’t want to miss this super q***r event!
Milestone and On will also be at our Tuesday Meetup near 6th and Laurel at 6pm!
