In this moment, caring for one another is a transformative, world-changing act.

Today, we gather to demonstrate the power of care and celebrate the people and partners who embody what that looks like. This year’s honorees represent the fierce, necessary truth that our community survives because of our insistence that we are worth the fight and worth the celebration.

Join us for a free Caregiver Coalition of San Diego Conference and Resource Fair. Learn how to recognize and prevent elder abuse, scams, and fraud while connecting with trusted local resources. Free lunch provided.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:
- Hear from expert speakers, including AARP’s Scam Jam fraud prevention training.
- Connect with community organizations
- Enjoy lunch.
- Enter opportunity drawings for gift cards, baskets, and more. Must be present at the end to win.

Thank You to Gensler For Hosting a Fundraiser for The Center!

Last week, The Center team joined Gensler and San Diego Pride for a special happy hour networking mixer and fundraiser at Gensler’s downtown San Diego offices in support of The Center.

Hosted by Gensler’s Employee Resource Group, the event kicked off their national annual conference taking place in San Diego this year, with The Center proudly selected as the sole beneficiary. We were honored to be part of an evening centered on connection, community, and support for LGBTQ+ organizations.

We’re incredibly grateful to the Gensler team for their generosity and commitment to making a positive impact, and we look forward to continuing to work together to advance our shared mission.

🕯️❤️ Today, our community gathered in love, remembrance, and unity for a Community Ofrenda marking the 10th anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub massacre.

Together with our partners at San Diego Pride and the LGBTQ Latine Coalition, we honored the 49 lives taken and all those impacted by this tragedy. Through reflection, stories, and collective healing, we created a sacred space to remember, uplift, and reaffirm our commitment to a future where our LGBTQ+ communities can live with dignity, safety, and pride.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in holding space and keeping the memories of those we lost alive.
