One of the actionable outcomes of the movie was creating pods of smaller groups around the country to help educate and support people looking to live a healthier lifestyle. PlantDiego’s goal is to create a place for any vegans, vegetarians, or veg-curious people to get information about the benefits of a plant based lifestyle, the impact a pla

nt based diet has on the environment, and ways to get involved in local activities from social events to protests. What a great turnout (about 50 people!) for our Caribbean Bowl potluck and Dr. Michael Greger of NutritionFacts.org “How Not to Die”film discussion all about the science and mountain of evidence supporting a WFPB diet! Our leaders took turns showing excerpts and leading group discussions. Everyone raved about the food and theme! Stay tuned for more events like these in the future!

After our tour at a bunch of us went to Loving Hut, Mira Mesa for a delicious lunch, including burgers made with Tracy's REAL Foods All American burger patties!
This event plan was a great fit because this restaurant supports Franklin by having their information on every table so guests can learn all about farm animal sanctuaries.
