🎆 A New Name for the Next Chapter! 🎆

For more than 50 years, fireworks have been part of the Mira Mesa community’s Independence Day tradition. As we look toward the future, we're excited to announce that Scripps Mesa Fireworks is now Mira Mesa Fireworks! 🇺🇸

Our name is changing, but our mission, our nonprofit organization, and our commitment to the community remain the same.

The name Scripps Mesa Fireworks has been part of this history for almost 30 years, and we are grateful to everyone—including our friends and neighbors in Scripps Ranch—who has supported the tradition along the way. ❤️

As we move forward, Mira Mesa Fireworks better reflects the community we proudly serve and the future we're building together.

Same organization.
Same tradition.
Same community spirit.
A new name for the years ahead.

Did you capture and shots of the fireworks show that you are especially proud of? Would you share them with Scripps Mesa Fireworks? We would live to be able to showcase them throughout the year on our promotional items. Email them to [email protected].

We hope you will be at Hourglass Community Park to watch the fireworks. If you are, you will be able to hear the soundtrack for the show since we aren't simulcast on the radio. Special thanks to our neighbors who made it a reality.

Remember friends, in Mira Mesa, there will be fireworks at Wangenheim Middle School on July 3rd, at 9pm. Anything you hear outside of that date, well, it is your neighbors.

Communities around the U.S. are putting on epic fireworks shows for America's 250th birthday — but that spells trouble for dogs and cats. Here's a guide to help the animals in your life.

Be sure to share your favorites with us. We would love to showcase your work.

The 4th of July in the United States is coming up and I thought it would be a great idea to share a few helpful tips for those who may be heading out to Professor Hines - ZEISS Ambassador, Adobe & Sony Partner
