Salute to Service at Cathedral Catholic! 🫡

Warrior Foundation Freedom Station was honored to be recognized alongside the Special Forces Association, Chapter 75 at Cathedral Catholic High School’s Salute to Service football game Friday night!

A special shoutout to high school senior Cash Cacini, whose senior project brought the game, festivities, and community together in an incredible celebration of service. What a hit!

We are grateful for the many Veterans who joined us in the stands and especially for the opportunity to have our Warriors recognized on the field.

The evening also included a letter-writing campaign in support of our Boxes for Warriors program. These heartfelt letters will accompany care packages we’ll be shipping to the crews of the USS Michael Murphy and USS Spruance.

Thank you, Cathedral Catholic, Cash, the Special Forces Association, and everyone who helped make this night so meaningful. Your support reminds our service members that they are never forgotten! 🇺🇸 ❤️

Welcome to Freedom Station III, Kaitlyn! 🇺🇸

Please join us in welcoming our newest resident at Freedom Station III, Kaitlyn Garza!

Kaitlyn proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as a Motor Transport Mechanic (MOS 3521) and continues to serve others through her pursuit of higher education.

She is currently working toward a degree in Neuroscience at the University of San Diego, with an inspiring goal of becoming a neonatal surgeon.

We are proud to have Kaitlyn as part of our family and look forward to supporting her as she works toward her goals and builds her future beyond the uniform.

Welcome home, Kaitlyn! We’re honored to have you with us! 🇺🇸❤️

A huge THANK YOU to Tee It Up for the Troops Huntington Beach for 15 years of continuous support! ❤️🤍💙

This epic event is truly one of a kind, bringing Patriots together to raise awareness and support for deserving local nonprofits and we are incredibly grateful to be part of it year after year.

Mark and Leslie Mayes, along with their amazing team of volunteers, have a special way of making our Warriors feel right at home and truly part of the family.

We are so thankful for your continued support, generosity, and dedication to our Warriors! Your commitment makes a meaningful difference and will go a long way in helping our Warriors successfully transition and acclimate to civilian life.

Thank You, North Island Credit Union! 🇺🇸

A big thank you to North Island Credit Union, a division of California Credit Union, for spending time with us at Freedom Station III!

They also rolled up their sleeves and built Boxes for Warriors serving overseas, filling them with support, appreciation, and a reminder that they are not forgotten.

While here, they learned more about Warrior Foundation Freedom Station and the programs we provide for our Warriors, while also getting a firsthand look at our resident cottages and the community we’ve created here.

We are incredibly grateful for your time, generosity, and commitment to supporting those who have served our country. Thank you for standing with our Warriors!

Together, we can make a difference, both at home and overseas. 🇺🇸

Warrior Spotlight! 🇺🇸

Liam Sarti, (Veteran, USMC)

Resident: Freedom Station III

We’re proud to spotlight Liam, a former Corporal and Infantryman (0311) who served with 2/7 and 3/7 and has been a resident of Freedom Station III since September 2025.

Currently, Liam is focused on building his next chapter. He is currently enrolled in Welding 1 at Workshops for Warriors, working toward a career in commercial welding and shipbuilding, either here in SoCal or in his home state of Colorado.

A well-known resident, dedicated volunteer, and natural leader within our housing program, Liam continues to make a positive impact on those around him.

We are honored to walk alongside our Warriors as they build their next chapter. Their service may have changed, but their mission continues.

Join us in celebrating Liam and cheering him on in all that lies ahead! ❤️

Once again, Warrior Foundation Freedom Station is proud to partner with SeaWorld San Diego and Waves of Honor to support our military community during these Military Appreciation Days.

Come by and say hello, write a personal letter of encouragement to a Warrior, and learn more about the vital role we play in the recovery and transition of our nation’s ill and injured Warriors.

Building Boxes. Building Connections. 🇺🇸

Warrior Foundation Freedom Station was honored to be the philanthropic charitable activity for the GTIA ChannelCon event in San Diego last week!

Thanks to the incredible team at 365 Connect, event attendees came together to build 300 Boxes for Warriors that will be sent to service members stationed overseas.

What made this so special was seeing everyone roll up their sleeves, pack boxes, write thankful messages, and help remind our service members that they are remembered, appreciated, and supported back home.

We are so grateful to everyone who helped make a difference for our Warriors! ❤️
