Huge thanks to our friends at Gather to Give! This new Women's Giving Circle with 40 members generously granted Home Start nearly $3,000 last week for our Maternity Housing Program. 🎊Best of all, 8 members came by for a personal tour to see firsthand where they are part of changing lives and wrote greeting cards to brighten the day for some of our residents. Home Start Night at the San Diego Padres! Last week, Home Start was honored to be the Nonprofit Community Partner at the Padres Game. ⚾️ More than 40 Home Start staff, Board Members, friends and volunteers attended to cheer on the Padres, and we also hosted a special booth at the Community Kiosk to share more about Home Start with the fans. Last week, 14 incredible Sprott Asset Management team members showed up for San Diego families, donating 22 volunteer hours + $1,237.22 in supplies to create 50 Care Kits for vulnerable community members.
