🚨 Today is the last day to register!

Join San Diego Housing Federation this Friday, October 23, for a property tour of Community HousingWorks’ Kimball Highland in National City, part of our Fundamentals of Affordable Housing: Design and Development series presented by San Diego Habitat for Humanity.

Winner of our 2025 Ruby Award for Project of the Year: New Construction, Kimball Highland is a great example of how affordable housing can connect residents to health, services, transportation, and community.

We’ll hear directly from the partners who brought this award-winning development to life, including Community HousingWorks, Studio E Architects, San Ysidro Health, the City of National City, CONAM Management Corporation, and Sun Country Builders.

Following the discussion, we’ll tour the property and see firsthand how these partnerships and design decisions have shaped the community.
Don’t miss your chance to join us!

San Diego — your 2026 Ballot Measure Voter Guide is here. 🗳️

The Basic Needs Coalition worked for months to break down every proposition on this November’s ballot — from housing and healthcare to food security and local tax measures — so you have the information you need to vote with confidence.

This is our first-ever voter guide and we couldn’t be prouder. Share it with everyone you know.

San Diego is a place so many of us are proud to call home. But for too many people, the rising cost of living is making it harder to stay, raise a family, build a career, or plan for the future.

On Wednesday, August 19, the San Diego Housing Federation is proud to partner with the Office of Congresswoman Sara Jacobs for a Community Town Hall focused on San Diego’s cost of living and what we can do together to address it.

This will be an opportunity to come together as a community, hear federal updates directly from Congresswoman Jacobs, learn more about the connection between housing and the cost of living, and share your own experiences, questions, and ideas.

📅 Wednesday, August 19, 2026
🕔 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm

The specific location will be shared with registered guests 48 hours before the event.
