March 5th is Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) Awareness Day, a day to bring understanding to a condition that is often misunderstood and highly stigmatized.

DID is a complex trauma-related disorder that can affect a person’s identity, memory, and sense of self. Raising awareness helps create more compassion, education, and support for those who may be living with it.

At Open Heart Leaders, we offer trauma-informed and confidential counseling services for individuals seeking support and healing.

March marks the beginning of Women’s History Month, a time to intentionally honor the women who have shaped our history and continue to transform our communities every day.

At Open Heart Leaders, we see firsthand how powerful it is when women are supported mentally, emotionally, and professionally. When women have access to counseling, education, leadership development, and advocacy resources, families grow stronger and communities become healthier.

This month, we celebrate the resilience, brilliance, and courage of women past and present and we recommit ourselves to creating spaces where women feel safe, empowered, and heard.

To every woman leading quietly or boldly: we see you. We honor you. We thank you. 💛

March 2nd is World Teen Mental Wellness Day ❤️

At Open Heart Leaders, we believe our teens deserve safe spaces, real conversations, and the support to heal out loud.

Let’s start the conversation.
Let’s listen without judgment.
Let’s prioritize self-care, mind, body, and emotions.

Through our Counseling Services and Heart Leaders Academy, we are committed to equipping teens with the tools they need to thrive, not just survive.

If you’re a parent, educator, pastor, or community leader, this is your reminder: Check in. Ask questions. Create space.

And if you’re a teen reading this, you are not alone. Help is here.

March 1st is Self-Injury Awareness Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness, breaking stigma, and creating space for honest conversations around self-harm. Self-injury is often a sign of deep emotional pain, not attention seeking behavior. Many individuals struggle in silence, carrying wounds that aren’t always visible. Awareness matters. Compassion matters. Access to support matters.

At Open Heart Leaders, we believe healing begins when people feel seen, heard, and supported. If you or someone you love is struggling, know that help is available. You are not alone. Our counseling services provide trauma-informed, confidential support for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
