Some stories cannot be changed.

For families who have lost a child to sextortion and online exploitation, sharing what happened can become a way to help protect someone else.

In Sextortion: A Chris Hansen Investigation, four families share their stories and why they are speaking out.

Their stories are a powerful reminder of why prevention matters and why we chose FOR THE ONE as the theme of this year’s Fiesta Night.

She met him online. That detail matters.

Thankfully, the two girls were found safe in Georgia. But this is an important reminder that online connections can become dangerous very quickly.

Talk with your children about who they are communicating with, remind them that people online may not be who they claim to be, and make sure they know they can come to you if something feels wrong.

We are grateful for the law enforcement agencies who helped bring these girls home safely. 💙
