First Friday Salinas is a monthly tradition designed to transform Downtown into a consistent, positive space for community and culture to thrive. Every first Friday from 5-8 PM, businesses will stay open late and welcome residents and families to enjoy a vibrant atmosphere built on local talent, connection, and city pride. Weekly performances will be held at the 1 Main Street stage from 5 - 6 PM.

First Friday Salinas is coming on June 5th! 🎉

Join us in Downtown Salinas starting at 5 PM for an evening packed with art, music, local shopping, food, and community.

Salinas Valley Pride joins the celebration at the 100 Main Stage with an exciting lineup of performances, community partners, artists, and organizations. Come dance, sing along, connect with artists and orgs, see your favorite drag performers. 🌈

Get ready for an exciting summer at First Fridays in Downtown Salinas!

Over the next three months, we’ll be celebrating community, culture, and creativity with themed evenings filled with live performances, interactive activities, and more! 🎶

June 5 kicks off Pride Month in partnership with Salinas Valley Pride. 🌈 On July 3, we’ll bring together rodeo season and the excitement of the 2026 FIFA World Cup with soccer activities, line dancing, and live music. ⚽🤠Then on August 7, we’ll cruise into Monterey Car Week with classic cars and a performance by the Latin Jazz Collective. 🚗

✨ Free to the public and fun for all ages! Join us starting at 5 PM on the 100–300 blocks of Main Street in Salinas.
