We would like to take a moment to recognize our beloved leader, Jill, who has announced her retirement. Throughout her time at Dorothy’s, Jill has shared her resilience, expertise, problem-solving skills, and unwavering dedication with this agency and the people we serve. Above all, she has shared with us her dreams for Dorothy’s and her deep belief in our mission, inspiring those around her to carry that vision forward.

There are not enough words to express how grateful we are for Jill and the many years she has dedicated to Dorothy’s. So, we will leave you with her own words—words that beautifully capture the person and leader she is:

Here's a wonderful snapshot of our Peer Support Specialists alongside participants from our Wellness Workshops!

Our workshops are designed to provide a safe, welcoming space where individuals can openly share, process, and express their feelings in a supportive environment.

Join us every Friday at 1:30pm at SanaVida, located at 28 Soledad St. This is an open-door event, everyone is welcome! Come connect with our Certified Peer Support Specialists, build community, and take a meaningful step toward wellness.

When community partners step up, real change happens.

We’re incredibly grateful to our friends at Luxury Custom Painting for donating their time, materials, and expertise to refresh our space. Thanks to their generosity, our walls look brighter for the individuals we serve.

While it may sound like a simple update, a fresh coat of paint plays an important role in creating a clean, welcoming space where individuals can feel safe and respected. Their team specializes in professional interior and exterior painting for homes and businesses, and they brought that same care and craftsmanship to our facility.
