This where it all began, our very first Firefighter Appreciation game with the Minnesota Wild! What a great night and it was the catalyst for our Taylor Rogers fund that has enabled many SPFD firefighters to get the funds they needed in their fight against mental health. We have come a long way. thank you to the Minnesota Wild, Taylor Rogers,and Saint Paul Professional Firefighters Local 21 for your support in our efforts to provide health and wellness assistance to Saint Paul firefighters!

For firefighters, the danger does not always end when the fire is extinguished.
According to the IAFF, 247 of the 311 IAFF members honored at the IAFF Fallen Fire Fighter
Memorial in September 2025 died of occupational cancer. Exposure must be treated as a central firefighter health issue.

Thank you to the Minnesota Wheels of Honor and everyone who participated in today’s ride to honor SPFD Firefighter Tommy McDonough Jr. In their words - They ride, they remember and they honor.

More pictures to come, I can only imagine what it looked like to have 50 motorcycles and an es**rt of 8 SPFD ladder trucks, fire engines and other fire vehicles es**rting them from Lexington and Larpenteur through Como Park on their way to the SPFD training facility on Energy Park Drive! If anyone saw the procession please share your thoughts!!
