Each month, a different nonprofit receives the funds collected from our ponds. ⛲️ Those contributions add up to about $24,000 each year. This month’s recipient is Joseph's Coat, Inc.

Thank you The Odd Couple Team - Coldwell Banker Realty and everyone in the community that donates coats-we are so appreciative for this partnership again this year! We had 167 shoppers on Monday, and are commonly asked for coats as everyone prepares for Winter. We are in need of warm winter coats for adults and children, and are especially low on men's coats right now.

As the temperatures drop, the need rises—and we’re heading into the final few weeks of our Coat Drive with Joseph's Coat, Inc.❄️💙

We’re not quite on pace to hit our goal yet, but there’s still time to make a big impact!

Last week, Joseph's Coat held a successful fundraiser to celebrate our work and raise funds to support our mission. Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible—staff, volunteers, donors, and especially the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation for matching the first $30,000 in donations. Together, we raised over $80,000 (after expenses) to support our mission.

Special thanks to the Church of the Assumption for their warm hospitality, and to our amazing guest speakers, Htay and Ranjana, who run Minnesota’s first Karenni Grocery store.
