A heartfelt thank you to our distinguished guests, elected officials, and community leaders for helping create lasting memories at the 5th Annual Minnesota Songkran Festival.

We are deeply honored by the presence and support of representatives from the Office of U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, Mayor Kaohly Her of St. Paul, St. Louis Park City Council Members Daniel Bashore (Ward 1) and Jim Engelking (Ward 2), our valued community partners, and AAPI community leaders.

Your participation made this celebration especially meaningful and reflected a shared commitment to fostering cultural understanding, community engagement, and inclusion. Thank you to the Thai Trade Center Chicago for your support and sponsorship of the 5th Annual Minnesota Songkran Festival and AAPI Heritage Month celebrations.

We sincerely appreciate your partnership in promoting Thai cuisine and culinary traditions at this year’s festival. Your support helped showcase one of Thailand’s most beloved dishes through an authentic papaya salad (Som Tum) demonstration, tastings, and a papaya salad eating contest that engaged attendees of all ages.

On behalf of the Thai Cultural Council of Minnesota, Wat Promwachirayan, and the Thai community throughout Minnesota, thank you for your generosity, collaboration, and commitment to promoting Thai products, food culture, and trade opportunities in the United States.
