About the SLP Parktacular Ambassador Program:
The St. Louis Park Parktacular Ambassador Program is an intergenerational leadership and community service program that brings people together to represent St. Louis Park and the Parktacular Festival at events across Minnesota and beyond. Ambassadors build confidence, develop leadership skills, and serve as positive role models while participating in parades, community celebrations, volunteer opportunities, and community outreach. Through their experiences, they strengthen connections, promote civic pride, and make a meaningful impact in the communities they serve.

🌟 Our Butter Braid Fundraiser Starts TODAY! 🌟

The St. Louis Park Parktacular Ambassadors are officially kicking off our Butter Braids fundraiser, and we need your help to reach our goal of selling 200 Butter Braids!

These delicious pastries are perfect for sharing (or keeping all to yourself 😊), and just in time for Mother’s Day celebrations! 💐

Join us next week in helping to support our St. Louis Park community with a food donation to STEP. Then stay to learn what planning for our Parktacular Festival is all about.

There’s a steady strength in how Minnesotans show up and care for one another. Especially when the news feels heavy, the kindness shared right here at home is a powerful reminder that we’re all in this together. Our Parktacular board is proud to stand with the community and keep that momentum going.

On Wed., Feb. 11 from 6-7 p.m., our board members and friends will be collecting donations for STEP--St. Louis Park Emergency Program to help fill their shelves with groceries and essentials for local families. Want to help? Check out this flyer for most-needed items and bring your donation items to our drop site at the Rec Center that evening.

Then, if you’d like, stay for our February Parktacular planning meeting at 7 p.m. in the Gallery Room to learn more about what we do and how you can take part. As we plan this summer’s festival, we’re holding tight to Parktacular’s mission: to host a celebration where every business and neighbor feels they belong. As always, that means creating vibrant, safe and inclusive experiences for all — and we look forward to building them together with you.

🎉 Happy Birthday, Co-Director Breanna! 🎉

Today we celebrate someone who has been at the heart of our Ambassador program for over 6 1/2 years. Breanna is supportive, steady, and the person everyone can rely on when times get rough. Her smile is infectious, her joy fills the room, and her care for our Ambassadors and our program runs deep.

She gives her all, every single time. She goes the extra mile, sets the perfect example of what it means to serve as a volunteer, and brings warmth, positivity, and strength to every connection she makes.

Breanna, thank you for being a warrior, a leader, and a bright light for our entire Ambassador community. We are so grateful for you, today and every day. Happy birthday to you, Breanna! 💛✨

✨ Last month Senior Ambassador Phyllis, and Ambassadors Rick and Adrianna had an absolute blast attending the Crowning Achievements Pageant! They spent the day laughing, connecting, and building friendships with Ambassadors and royalty from across MN and WI. 💙 The energy was contagious, and our group came back even more inspired, confident, and ready to serve the community.

Crowning Achievements is a nonprofit that creates opportunities for teens and adults with special needs to grow confidence, independence, social skills, and friendships, and we were honored to be part of the magic. 🌟

At events like these, our Ambassadors continue to improve their personal and professional skills, proudly represent the Parktacular Festival and the City of St. Louis Park, and demonstrate what community leadership really looks like.
