Western Sun Foundation (WSF) is a non-profit organization inspired by the music, fanbase and "experience" associated with the band Goose. Created by our community, for the community, our mission is to channel the energy we receive from celebrating music into positive initiatives that serve the communities we pass through on our journeys.

Our current beneficiary Bloom Art and Integrated Therapies Inc. is focused on encouraging a creative, healthy, and strong community. They believe that sharing ideas, coping strategies, grounding techniques, and other benefits of therapeutic-style art making lifts us all up. This holistic approach to wellness and mental health is the cornerstone of what Bloom endeavors to plant in others.

We are excited to announce our Milwaukee Beneficiary for the shows next week: Bloom Art and Integrated Therapies! The only Milwaukee organization providing integrated art and music therapies to clients and the community.

Bloom’s mission is to harness the healing power of art to nurture well-being, inspire self-expression, and foster growth. Through accessible, inclusive art therapy, they empower individuals and communities to heal, connect, and thrive.

We will be out at almost all of the fall tour shows and we are also participating in/hosting some special and fun events in Milwaukee and Pittsburgh- announcement for those city’s beneficiaries coming soon 👀 We can’t wait to get back on the road, raise some money, and have some fun!

Our hearts are shattered again by the recent news of the Bend school shooting and the loss of innocent young lives in their classrooms. Another community we recently danced in broken, and a headline we see far too often.

We have decided to make an emergency $10,000 gift to Sandy Hook Promise to support their mission to educate and empower youth and adults to prevent violence in schools, homes, and communities.

Do you have any Goose posters from this year (any from 2026) lying around collecting dust? Got an extra in a tube in the back of your closet? Put it to good use!

We are collecting poster donations for a good cause. We will be announcing our fall beneficiaries in the coming weeks and are still in search of one in Atlantic City. These donations will help these causes!

While we wait for tour to commence again we’ve been thinking back on what a year we’ve had. We hosted our first 5K in St Augustine this past April and we brought the Goose out to our runners to keep them motivated on the course 🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

It’s breast cancer awareness month and WSF was out with Cotter last night to Rock the Pink at Ardmore Music Hall! Rock the Pink is a fundraiser supporting the American Cancer Society and it’s organizers raised over $40K last night for the cause 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼

One of the many organizations WSF has been able to support over the years is Breast Wishes Foundation , whose mission is to give the gift of joy to those living with breast cancer. If you missed our visibility campaign on Breast Wishes check out their socials to learn more about how they are making a difference and how you can help!
