Our Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Johns County Summer Auction is starting soon!

One of this year’s amazing auction items is a four-night stay in either a one-bedroom or a three-bedroom condo (your choice) in Pigeon Forge, TN, generously donated by Jeni's Family, operated by Anastasia Diner and Moultrie Creek Diner

Free Su***de Prevention Training!

Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in Question. Persuade. Refer. (QPR) learn how to recognize the warning signs of a su***de crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.

You can sign up for free virtual training on Thursday, June 11th, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at www.eventbrite.com/e/question-persuade-refer-qpr-virtual-tickets-1985286113207.

In-person or virtual private training can be scheduled for groups at no cost. Please contact Teresa Andrews at [email protected] or (904) 829-3295 for more information.

During the course, you will:
Learn how to question, persuade, and refer someone who may be suicidal.
Learn the common causes of suicidal behavior.
Learn the warning signs of su***de.
Learn how to offer hope to someone who is suicidal.
Learn how to get help for someone in crisis and save a life.

Participants earn a two-year certification upon completion.
