Rebuilding Lives Through Housing, Support & Hope. Transitional Housing for Homeless Women, their Children and Seniors Women.

We begin by providing safe housing, access to medical and dental care, food, clothing and personal items. Each resident works with a case manager & life skills coach and is assisted in securing employment and furthering their education. They also work with a mental health counselor and take classes on budgeting and finances, nutrition and cooking, parenting, career coaching and assessment, etiquette, as well as other life skill classes deemed necessary by the case manager. Our goal and purpose in the above mentioned classes is to ‘fill in the gaps’, so that when the resident leaves our program they will be stable, self-sufficient and able to take care of themselves and their family.

During our first “Finding the Right One” Life Skills class, our amazing moms participated in a self-portrait painting activity—with a twist. Instead of simply listing the qualities they hope to find in a future partner, they were challenged to look inward and ask: Do I possess the same qualities I’m looking for in someone else?

It was a powerful exercise in self-awareness, personal growth, and recognizing who they are—and, more importantly, whose they are. 🙏

Because healthy relationships begin with healthy individuals, and becoming the woman God created you to be is an important part of building a stronger future. 💙

Sometimes, a simple bouquet says, “You are seen. You are valued. You are loved.”

Our sweet volunteer, Cindy Pryor, receives flowers from her husband every week, and it made her think of our moms—women who may not often experience the simple joy of receiving flowers.

So Cindy decided to change that. She surprised our moms with beautiful bouquets, simply because they deserve to feel special, celebrated, and loved.

It’s a small gesture with a BIG message: You matter.

💙💚 Good really IS everywhere! 💚💙

We had such a great time welcoming Jena, Branch Vice President of the St. Augustine North Branch, and the awesome VyStar Credit Union team back to Alpha-Omega Thrift Store for VyStar’s Good is Everywhere Volunteer Day!

This marks the St. Augustine North Branch’s third year volunteering with us and Jena’s second year organizing the event — and they came ready to WORK! 🙌

The team jumped in to help in our clothing processing room and children’s library, bringing lots of energy, smiles, and helping hands along the way. They are always such a fun, friendly group and represent VyStar so well. Their time with us truly makes a difference! ❤️

They finished their serve day with a tour of our new Alpha-Omega Miracle Home campus, and we’re already looking forward to having them back again!

One of our beloved senior residents, Agnus, is preparing to welcome a new mom and her baby into the AOMH family. 🏡❤️

This is the heart of Alpha-Omega Miracle Home: generations coming together under one roof—sharing wisdom, encouragement, love, and the everyday moments that turn a house into a family.

For this mom and baby, a new chapter is about to begin. And they won’t have to walk it alone.

Our amazing CEO, Lisa Franklin, recently traveled to Orlando to participate in the Florida Housing Coalition’s “Bankers Can Be Your Best Partners” Panel Prep, connecting with leaders who share a commitment to strengthening housing opportunities and building stronger communities across Florida.

At Alpha-Omega Miracle Home, we know meaningful change doesn’t happen alone. It happens when nonprofits, businesses, financial institutions and community leaders come together with a shared purpose. These relationships help open doors, create opportunities and ultimately bring greater hope and stability to families who need it most.
