Benjamin Ministries

Benjamin Ministries Bereavement Support My husband Dan and I joyously welcomed, Benjamin Waterman, into our family as our seventh child on March 6, 1997. In His Love,

Pam Waterman

Each day we were given to love and care for him was nothing short of God's blessing on our family. On April 29, 1997, our Heavenly Father would reveal his plans for, Benjamin, and we would have to do what no family would ever choose to do. We would need to say, "Good bye" to our sweet baby boy. Ben would breathe his last breath, as a result of a tragic auto accident, on this glorious spring day. I

t would only be a few years down the road of our, "Journey of Loss," that we would have the vision and opportunity to establish Benjamin Ministries. The vision of this ministry is to help others by sharing the comfort of our Great and Mighty God in their need for support during the difficult weeks and months after the loss of a child, loved one or friend. We accomplish this by by providing bereavement packages, resources and counseling upon your request. Benjamin Ministries offers an assortment of bereavement packages that can be given to anyone who is in the bereaving process, and we provide these packages as a GIFT of our ministry. Whether you desire a simple scripture plaque or a personalized memoriam plaque, we have a package that can minister tor you, your family member or friend. Why not visit our website to learn more about our ministry and packages that have comforted and encouraged hundreds of people during their journey of grief. The vision won't stop here. Please follow us as we set out for the second phase of our ministry in which we desire to offer bereavement conferences, respite conferences and support groups as an additional help for those who are struggling in their bereavement. Thank you for your prayers and your support, now, and in in future days to come.

Today we remember Ben in Heaven for 29 years now. How crazy is that!

He’s in the care of his Heavenly Father and Jesus and we just feel at peace about that. We’ll miss him for as long as we’re here on this side. We’ll always—say his name. He was here, he lived, he breathed he was part of our family even though for such a short time.

Dear God,

Give Ben a kiss and a hug from us. Please tell him we miss him and can’t wait to see him again one glorious day.
And—Oh, what a glorious reunion it will be🤗💙🙌

The atmosphere in Washington, D.C. is shifting right now because something historic is taking place. As we approach the 250th anniversary of this nation, we are returning to the only foundation that cannot be shaken. From April 18 through April 25, the entire Bible is being read aloud from Genesis to Revelation at the Museum of the Bible.

For seven straight days, nearly 500 people from across the country are gathering to lift their voices for 12 hours a day. There is no human commentary, no political spin, and no personal interpretation. This is the raw, unfiltered Word of God being spoken over our capital and over our land.

This is more than an event. It is a prophetic stand for spiritual renewal…in a time when America is statistically the most secular she has ever been!

In a season of deep division, this is a moment of total unity where we declare the ultimate authority of Scripture. We are calling for a turning point in America, and that turning point always begins with the Word.
The sound of Truth is being released into the atmosphere. Watch, listen, and share this everywhere. Let’s make sure the Word of God reaches every home in this nation.

I’ll be the first to admit, that I’ve had to fight through depressive days during this time of world wide uncertainty. I’m quite sure you are all feeling the same at times. How could you not feel this way?

We know many have lost loved ones through a plethora of circumstances. How can we bare this time in our world history? Do we have what it takes to persevere just one more day?

Do you want to live through this?

It truly comes down to the answer to this question.

If you answer, “No,”than you’ll look for ways to give in, give up, waste away...slowly disappear.

If your answer is, “Yes,” than you’ll FIGHT. You’ll fight every impure and negative thought that wants you to move your answer to, “No.”

This is an unprecedented time in our World. Your mere existence is creating history as we speak. You will be a story of survival or of defeat.

Why are you here at this time?

Are you a random accident or a divine creation?

Your answer to this question will play into the answer of the previous question.

If you think of yourself as a random accident why fight to go on? Why not just fade away into nothingness. You were here. You lived to breath—you breathed to live. You may have made the world a better or a worse place, and now you can just leave without having the care of what you might have left to give or do.

If you know you are a divine creation, well, that’s a horse of a different color. A divine creation has purpose for existence. You understand that you are here for this time. You have a roll to play and a light to shine during a very dark time.

When you fight to carry-on, you see a future with YOU in it.

Do you see a future with YOU in it?

I do.

I see a future for all of us who are still breathing to live—living to breathe.

It’s a future with a world that will not be the same as the one we previously knew. Our world is changing, whether we like or not—whether we see it or not!

Fight for your future in this new world!

No matter what the changes in our world will be, we will still need the light of our divine creator, our Heavenly Father, His one and only Son, and the Holy Spirit to SHINE brightly! We can even hope that some of the Darkness that has been so prevalent may disappear for awhile. Could we have revival?

No matter, God has a plan, and until He puts away the Darkness for eternity, every living and breathing soul will need to continue to FIGHT to shine His LIGHT.

YOU DO have a divine creator and a divine purpose to live on.

Don’t be discouraged. Don’t be downcast.

Take heart, lift up your head and put your eyes to the Heavens above from where our help comes.

We ARE in this together, and together we must FIGHT the GOOD FIGHT!

Our God reigns...

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers,
39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38,39

Hello Work Crew!
Here we are in March already! The days are getting a little longer, and it looks like we are going to get some warner temperatures later this week. We’re in that quiet turning point of the year—when the snow begins to loosen its hold and the tiniest hint of the promise of flowers is just out of sight. The anticipation of the spring season ahead is sweet!

Though bereavement is difficult, we are committed to offering hope, comfort, and healing to those in a season of grief. Sending you this reminder that we will meet tomorrow night, Monday March 2 at 6:30 pm at IGM, 990 Calkins Rd. for our regular work night. If you've never joined us before, please consider it! We provide on-the-job training—everyone is welcome! If you have joined us before or are a regular volunteer, we look forward to seeing you!

But as it is written: eye has not seen nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. I Cor 2:9

Hello Work Crew!
Just a quick reminder that we will meet tomorrow night, Thurs 2/19 at 6:30 pm for our scheduled work night. We will meet at our usual location, IGM, 990 Calkins Rd, 14623.

Join us as we fellowship together and prepare to send our unique bereavement care packages to those who have found our ministry. It is a privilege to serve God in this way! We are often reminded that it is God's timeline, not ours, that determines when recipients will open, reflect on, and fully receive the contents, trusting that the impact will unfold at just the right moment. We were recently touched to receive thanks from a recipient for a package that had been sent over a year ago.

Come be part of what God is doing through this ministry, as we faithfully prepare each package and trust Him with the rest.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2 Cor 1:3-4
