This week we will highlight each of our Heroes Ball Honorees sharing their stories of support, hope, care and action.

Heroes Ball 2026 Community Leader Honoree - Rochester Americans. Jody Gage accepted the award on behalf of the Rochester Americans' Organization. The team was on the ice that night winning their game!

The Rochester Americans have regularly participated
in league-driven cancer initiatives for the past several
seasons, most notably Hockey Fights Cancer Night, a
larger campaign spearheaded by the National Hockey
League, National Hockey League Players’ Association
and the American Hockey League designed to unite
the hockey community in support of people affected by
cancer.

What a night! Heroes Ball was was a celebration of the community coming together to support patients and families on a cancer journey.
