We’re pleased to invite friends of Camp Pathfinder to a special afternoon in support of the Algonquin Campership Fund, hosted at Rivalry Projects.

Founded by Ryan Arthurs in 2021, Rivalry is a contemporary art gallery dedicated to supporting emerging and mid-career artists through exhibitions and programming. Guests are invited to view the gallery’s current exhibition while gathering in support of camp access and opportunity.

On view and available for purchase will be a selection of framed and unframed prints by Buffalo artist Duayne Hatchett (1925–2015). Proceeds from these sales will directly benefit the Algonquin Campership Fund.

GLM XXIV is in the books!
Coming in 1st place with a time of 2:05:27 is Warren and Jerry.
The Boulay brothers, Emmett and Cooper ended up doing the dishes with a time of 2:07:50. In 3rd place, an impressive finish from Chris B. and ACF board member Brian B.

We made it this year, folks! Help us Roc the Day through the United Way of Greater Rochester's Annual campaign!

What connects ‘ROCtheday in Rochester’ to Algonquin Park camps? Our affiliate camps, Camp Pathfinder and Camp Northway, are both Algonquin based outdoors camps formed by Local Rochester outdoor leaders in the early 1900’s.

Why Donate?

Donations to our Fund go toward awarding families in need. Awards may cover up to 100% of camp costs for a qualifying family. We'll shout it from our canoes all day long - EVERY CHILD DESERVES THE CHANCE TO GO TO SUMMER CAMP! Please help us get them there!

We stand with and love seeing Camp Pathfinder, one of our partner camps, making commitments to foster and support inclusive camp environments.

Every child deserves to experience the magic of summer camp if they so desire! ACF is dedicated to helping provide scholarships to every child hoping to attend one of our Algonquin Camps.

Camp Pathfinder thrives by including young people of all races, heritages and ethnicities. We support inclusion of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in the children’s camping movement.

Thank you to everyone who was able to tune into last night's Council Fire Friday speaker event! We are so inspired and revitalized by the support last night. A BIG thank you to the Hurley family for sharing your amazing stories with us and to Camp Pathfinder for being the dab of glue that brings us all together.

Our second Council Fire Friday is TOMORROW! We are excited to pair with Camp Pathfinder to bring you a special evening with Jack Hurley, a boat making legend. Sure to bring you some surprises, you won’t want to miss this.

Jack Hurley is a living legend and an important figure in the history of our canoe camps. Our camp community and young aspiring canoeists have so much to learn from him. We were lucky to reign in him for an intimate conversation as part of our Council Fire Friday series.
