Have a buyer (scammer) asking for your phone number and/or verification code? End the conversation, if possible block & report to their profile to Facebook, and report to admin in ANY group so they can be removed.

It’s Cyber Security Awareness month, so the tricks scammers use to steal our personal information are on our minds.

In these Exclusively groups, there is no anonymous (or trolling) here. Sellers are all neighbors to a specific community, or within town or county borders, and a sellers base or residency is vetted by zip code and closest cross roads to keep out spammers. Depending on the group, buyers can be in the same town borders, Greater Rochester 6 county area, or even anywhere! Rules are made and enforced to keep the peace. This means we are all on the same page and transactions then will be more successful which helps us ALL.
