NCADD-RA so appreciates the work of our own Finger Lakes Prevention Resource Center staff!! Thank you Irene, Jerry and Jules for all you bring to 20+ coalitions in our 12 county region!

We truly appreciate the ongoing support of the Regional Prevention Resource Center directors and staff. Their dedication to sharing best practices, providing training and technical assistance, and exploring new collaboration opportunities truly strengthens our prevention system in New York State. We hosted the annual gathering in Albany this month.⭐

David Young and Cody Salvatore assembling 31 totes of medication lock boxes, lock bags, and med disposal pouches for distribution at all the libraries within the Monroe County Library System! Thanks to our library partner Alicia Gunther for her help getting our med safety items out to the community!

Provisional data show an approximate 14% decrease in overdose deaths in 2025 compared to 2024 — an encouraging sign of progress. Overdose remains the leading cause of death for Americans ages 18–44, and some states are still seeing increases. CDC’s continued investments in data, prevention, and evidence-based strategies are critical to saving lives.
