Club Godly Divas

Club Godly Divas Club Godly Divas is a national Elementary School enrichment program for girls in grades 1-5 which began in Rochester, New York in February 2017.

Club Godly Divas is a national Elementary School enrichment program that focuses on character building and elevating the personal goals and self-esteem of each girl. We use a variety of teaching methods to encourage the development of healthy relationships with adults and each other; to increase a positive outlook on what each girl can accomplish in life (in school and outside of school); to nurtu

re her spiritual development; and to encourage a love for reading outside of school, daily. Club Godly Divas is offered one day a week, during the school day, and, in accordance with (most) state laws, any girl who attends must submit a signed parental waiver to her teacher or school administration prior to attending. This enrichment program meets 31 of the 40 Development Assets developed by Search Institute for this demographic. Club Godly Divas teaches Bible-based principles which, when applied, will develop strong, courageous, and successful woman. Unlike most enrichment programs, this program is self-funded and never takes monies, supplies, nor any form of compensation from the students, school, or district. Clubs are run by volunteers who use Club Godly Divas curriculum and strictly follow the standards required by the Club Godly Divas organization. This week we talked about absolutes. God created many things that are simply what they are. An orange is an orange and we can't change it into an apple. A foot is a foot, but doesn't become an arm, gravity is gravity, a girl is a girl, and a boy is a boy... God has created all of these things for a purpose, a reason. God doesn't make mistakes! He has made us the way he has made us and that is not a mistake!
