Meet Whiskey! 🥃🐾

This tiny little cutie is new to our rescue, and we are already completely smitten. He is sweet, adorable, and just the right amount of kitten chaos.

Whiskey still needs a little time to grow and get all of his vetting completed, but he will be available for adoption in the coming weeks. Keep an eye out for this handsome little guy, because we have a feeling he is going to steal some hearts very quickly. 💛

Today’s spotlight is for Pickle, and this boy is just as sweet as his name is cute!💚 🥒

Pickle is a 9-month-old young adult with the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. He loves to snuggle, enjoys playtime, and has the kind of sweet, fun personality that makes him such a joy to be around.

He is young enough to still have that fun, playful kitten energy, but old enough to have settled into being a really wonderful companion. Whether he is playing, hanging out with his people, or curling up for cuddles, Pickle is just a really good boy.

Pickle also does well with other cats, dogs, and children, which makes him a great fit for many kinds of homes. He is friendly, adaptable, and ready to win hearts wherever he goes.

Pickle is neutered, vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP, combo tested negative, microchipped, and up to date on preventatives. He is ready to find a loving forever home of his own! 🐾

✨Today’s adult cat spotlight is for our handsome house panther, Grinkle! ✨

Grinkle is the sweetest black kitty with the most lovable personality. He is gentle, affectionate, and has such a soft, special way about him. He is one of those cats who may not demand the spotlight, but once you get to know him, you realize just how amazing he is.

Black cats are so often overlooked, but Grinkle is proof that house panthers are some of the very best cats around. He is beautiful, sleek, sweet, and full of quiet charm. He loves giving kisses, and snuggling up on your lap. He has so much love to give and would make such a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loyal little shadow.

Grinkle is past the wild kitten stage and ready for the good stuff: cozy naps, gentle pets, soft blankets, sunny windows, and a forever family to call his own.

We absolutely adore this sweet boy, and we know his perfect person is out there. If you have room in your heart and home for an amazing adult kitty, Grinkle would love to meet you. 🐾

Happy Friday afternoon!

We wanted to end the week with a quick update, because even though it has been busy, it has also been a really good week!

This week, we had 5 community cats spayed/neutered and vaccinated through TNVR. That means 5 more cats who will not be contributing to the cycle of endless litters, and 5 more cats who are now healthier and safer.

We also took in two kittens who were trapped at one of the colony sites. They are doing wonderfully so far, and we are so excited to watch them grow.

On the adoption side, sweet Ollie was adopted by his foster family! We also have 5 more foster-to-adopt adoptions lined up, which is so exciting!

It has been a busy week full of trapping, vet appointments, kitten care, adoption planning, messages, coordination, and a whole lot of behind-the-scenes work.

We are a very small team, and we can only do so much, but we pour our whole hearts into this work. Every cat we are able to help is possible because of the people who support us, donate, foster, share our posts, cheer us on, and believe that these cats matter.

Next up in our adult cat spotlight is Aster. 🖤

Aster is a beautiful young black cat with the sweetest little soul.

She came to us after raising a litter of kittens, and now that her mama duties are done, it is finally her turn to be cared for, spoiled, and loved.

Aster is still learning what it means to live the luxurious indoor life. Some of the sounds and sights of a home are still new to her, so she may need a little patience while she settles in. But under the mildly cautious little exterior is such a sweet, loving girl who is so ready to feel safe!

She has already spent her energy taking care of babies. Now she deserves to be someone’s baby.

Aster is ready to enter her spoiled era, and we cannot wait for the right person to find her. 🖤

Next up in our adult cat spotlight is Chunk. 🩶

Chunk is our big gray sweetheart, and he has come such a long way!

He was originally a community cat, but when he showed up with a broken leg, his caretakers knew this boy needed help. Thanks to veterinary care, time, patience, and a safe place to heal, Chunk has recovered beautifully! Now he is living the cozy foster life and learning just how wonderful it feels to be loved.

And let us tell you, Chunk is very good at being loved.

He is a snuggly, gentle guy who is happiest when he has a comfy place to lounge, a soft couch to claim, and someone kind nearby. He is not looking for chaos or adventure. Chunk is more of a “let’s relax together and enjoy the good life” kind of cat.

He can be a little shy in new surroundings at first, but once he feels comfortable, his sweet personality starts to shine. Chunk has already survived the hard part. Now he is ready for the soft part!

A forever home. A couch of his own. A person or family who sees him for the special boy he is.

There is something really special about being chosen by an adult cat. 🖤

Kittens are wonderful, of course. They are tiny and funny and full of chaos. But adult cats have a different kind of magic.

They come with stories.

Some have known life outside. Some have loved people before and lost them. Some have raised babies. Some have survived hard things. Some are learning, maybe for the first time, that the world can be soft and safe and kind.

And when an adult cat finally relaxes into your home, curls up beside you, trusts your hands, follows you from room to room, or decides that you are their person, it feels like such an honor.

Right now, we have several incredible adult cats waiting for that kind of love. So starting tonight, we're going to highlight one of them each day!

First up is Bayou Billy!! He is a long-haired dreamboat with a heart just as beautiful as his fluffy little face. He loves belly rubs, chin rubs, b***y rubs, and he will do just about anything for a Churu. He is affectionate, charming, and full of love. Bayou Billy is ready to be adored, and he makes that very easy!

Meet Lenny, tiny kitten, big main character energy! 🐾

Lenny is an 8-week-old little guy with a whole lot of personality packed into one very cute body. He is spunky, outgoing, curious, and pretty convinced that he was born to be in charge.

He is a natural little leader and not afraid of much. New toy? He’s on it. New room? He’s exploring. Older cats? Future best friends, obviously. Cleaning the litter boxes? Lenny would like to supervise, assist, and possibly file a full quality-control report. 🤣

He loves to play and play and play, but once he finally wears himself out, his sweet snuggly side comes out. When he’s tired, he loves to curl up close, and his favorite move is snuggling right up by your neck like the tiniest, warmest little scarf.

Lenny is social, silly, brave, affectionate, and ready to charm absolutely everyone he meets. If you’re looking for a kitten who wants to be part of everything and then crash into cuddle mode, Lenny may be your guy. 💙

Lenny is not quite ready to go home yet, but we are accepting applications now for preapproval! Once he has finished his required vetting, we’ll be able to move forward with his adoption. Applying now is a great way to get the process started if you think this spunky little guy might be the one for you.

Meet Furby and Tamagotchi! 🐾

These sweet siblings are around 8 weeks old and doing fantastic! Furby is the brother of the pair, and Tamagotchi is his equally adorable sister. They are sweet, playful, purry little chaos machines, and they are getting closer every day to being ready for their forever home.

Furby is the outgoing adventurer of the two. He is curious, confident, and always ready to investigate whatever is happening around him. Tamagotchi is the snuggly little biscuit maker who loves curling up in your lap and purring like it is her full-time job.

They will soon be spayed and neutered, so they are not quite ready to go home yet, but we are accepting applications now for pre-approval. We are also open to a foster-to-adopt option for the right family while they finish up their vetting.

If you’re looking for a sweet brother/sister pair with big personalities, endless purrs, and the cutest 90s names ever, Furby and Tamagotchi may be your perfect match. 💙
