SpeakUp 5K / Cameron K. Gallagher Foundation CKG Foundation erases teen mental health stigma with education, awareness, and joy. Annual SpeakUp5k. And that she did. The Cameron K. We have achieved a lot.

Cameron Kathleen Gallagher dreamed of a world without mental health stigma. From experience, she knew the extreme difficulty of facing mental health challenges. Her heart was filled with purpose to raise awareness and encourage open, supportive conversations. Cameron found encouragement and relief from her symptoms of anxiety and depression through running. At 16, Cameron took the brave step to go

public with her mental health journey. She designed a community 5k event for her cause, the SpeakUp5k. To kick off her dream, she set the bold goal of completing the 2014 Shamrock Half Marathon. Steps after crossing the finish line, Cameron collapsed in her parents' arms and died of an undiagnosed heart condition. Gallagher (CKG) Foundation organized and hit the ground running in March of 2014. We exist to perpetuate the one dream of one wise and beautiful young girl. Our goal is to rid the world of mental health stigma, host the SpeakUp5k the world over and provide original, free teen mental health education. There is more to do.

Every step we take up the mountain will be dedicated to the young people who are navigating their own challenges and to the families who love them. It will be a reminder that while the path may be steep, none of us are meant to climb alone.

Your support of this climb is more than a donation. It is a statement that teen mental health matters. It is an investment in a life. It is a way of telling a young person, "We see you. We care about you. And you are not alone."

June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month, a time to challenge the idea that men have to struggle in silence.

Too often, boys and men are told to be tough, push through, or keep their emotions to themselves. Mental health is an essential part of overall well-being, and everyone deserves support when they need it.

These affirmations are a reminder that vulnerability is not weakness, asking for help is courageous, and taking care of your mental health matters.

Share this post with a man in your life who could use a reminder that he is valued, supported, and never alone. πŸ’š

For many LGBTQ+ young people, having supportive spaces where they feel seen, valued, and accepted can make a profound difference in their mental health and well-being. When young people know they belong, they are better able to thrive.

This month, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and joy of LGBTQ+ youth while recognizing the importance of creating communities where every person feels safe sharing their story.

Because everyone deserves to be exactly who they are and to know they are not alone.

June is Men's Mental Health Awareness Month. πŸ’š

Too often, boys and men receive messages that they should "tough it out," stay silent, or handle challenges on their own. Mental health is part of everyone's health, and asking for support is a sign of strength, not weakness.

This month, let's encourage open conversations, challenge harmful stereotypes, and remind the boys and men in our lives that it's okay to talk about their feelings, seek help, and prioritize their well-being.

No one should have to struggle alone.
