When two organizations within one health system come together, the impact reaches beyond our walls and into the community. Our educator recently partnered with the VCU Injury & Violence Prevention Program fall prevention coordinator and graduate student intern to provide a Healthy Aging presentation to the Active Adults at Swift Creek Family YMCA focused on fall prevention and medication safety. We thoroughly enjoyed sharing practical safety tips and engaging in meaningful discussion with the group.
