We produce dozens of events throughout the year, including and annual Pridefest that is one of the largest LGBTQ celebrations in Virginia, ensuring the LGBTQ community feels safe, seen and celebrated. A committee of volunteers oversees VA Pride's efforts to make the Richmond Region a better place for LGBTQ people to live, work and visit. We host dozens of events throughout the year, including an a
nnual Pridefest that is attended by more than 40,000 people. We serve as a resource for the LGBTQ community, and have provided nearly 100,000 over the last six years in funding to other LGBTQ and allied organizations and through scholarships for post-high school education.
