🎉 BIG NEWS!

We’re excited to share that Build Forward Foundation and Build, RVA has received a $10,000 grant from altriagroupinc!

Through Altria’s employee-driven Give Together program, Altria employees have a voice in supporting nonprofits doing meaningful work in the communities where they live and work. We’re incredibly grateful to be recognized and supported by their employees.

This grant will help us continue creating opportunities for Richmond’s next generation of builders, creators, and entrepreneurs by providing access to the tools, equipment, and hands-on experiences that help turn ideas into reality.

A huge thank you to Altria and its employees for believing in what we’re building and investing in the future of Richmond. We’re excited for what’s ahead! 🙌

Summer sewing season is here! 🧵✨

Join resident member and experienced seamstress Jackie on August 22 from 9:30 AM–12 PM for Build’s Summer Basic Sewing class.

Whether you’re brushing up on the basics or ready to bring a project to life, this self-directed class gives you the freedom to choose your own project while getting the guidance you need along the way.

Please note: Sewing Orientation and Introduction to Sewing must be completed before taking this class.

Come ready to sew, create, and make something of your own. 🪡

Give your child the opportunity to explore the world of robotics this summer at Build RVA’s LEGO Robotics Summer Camp! Using the LEGO Spike Prime platform, campers will design, build, and program their own robots while tackling exciting problem-solving challenges, developing teamwork skills, and having fun every step of the way.🥳
